Aubrey Kraft

Lead UX Researcher at Collective Health

Aubrey Kraft has extensive experience in the field of healthcare and design. Currently, they are working at Collective Health as a Lead UX Researcher. Prior to this, they were a Sr. UX Researcher at the same company.

Before joining Collective Health, Aubrey worked at Kaiser Permanente as a Senior Service Designer and Design & Innovation Lead. Their role involved leading and supporting projects that applied human-centered design and creative problem-solving within an integrated healthcare organization serving 12.4 million members. They were responsible for top organizational priorities and initiatives. Aubrey also worked as a Service Designer at Kaiser Permanente.

Earlier in their career, Aubrey worked as a Graduate Team Coach at Northwestern University and as a Design + Innovation Intern at The University of Vermont Medical Center. They were one of four interns at the hiCOlab, a pilot innovation center, where they focused on creating prototypes based on challenges and demonstrating the value of the design process to Medical Center executives. They also led a project using design thinking to improve care transition after procedures for patients and their caregivers.

Aubrey's other work experiences include being a Fulbright Grantee - English Teaching Assistant at Fulbright Malaysia, an Undergraduate Research Fellow at the Oregon National Primate Research Center, an Undergraduate Student Researcher at Tulane University, and a Clinical Engineering Intern at Engineering World Health.

Throughout their career, Aubrey has shown expertise in UX research, service design, human-centered design, creative problem solving, and the application of design thinking in the healthcare industry. They have also demonstrated strong leadership skills and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders, care team members, and patients.

Aubrey Kraft completed a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (BSE) in Biomedical Engineering at Tulane University from 2009 to 2013. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) in Engineering Design and Innovation at Northwestern University from 2015 to 2016.
