Laurent Cros is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in software development and product leadership, currently serving as the product leader for a safety maritime application at CLS Group since 2002. With a technical management role in the Halios Catch Manager application, Laurent oversees developers and facilitates Agile meeting practices as a Scrum Master. Expertise encompasses cartography management utilizing tools like GeoServer, PostGIS, and ArcGis, as well as project management for Android applications that track moving entities. Laurent has also contributed to significant projects such as the JCOMMOPS Global Ocean Observing System and has a solid foundation in web development from previous tenure at Arena Solutions. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree and Bachelor’s degree in computer science from Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse III, along with an Associate’s degree from IUT Informatique.
