Mario Quappe Gutiérrez is an aerospace engineer with extensive experience in the space and engineering sectors. Currently serving as an Advisor in the Chilean Space Subdirection at Fuerza Aérea de Chile since May 2023, Mario provides technical expertise and strategic guidance for government space projects. Previously, Mario held the position of Consejero de Especialidad Ingeniería Aeronáutica y del Espacio at Colegio de Ingenieros de Chile A.G. and worked as a Project Engineer at SYNTEC, focusing on project development through simulations and analytical calculations, particularly in mining. Mario's academic background includes two engineering degrees from Universidad de Concepción, complemented by practical experiences in structural analysis and design for various aerospace projects.
