Jesper Holmgaard has extensive experience in sales and business development, with a focus on the Asia Pacific region. Jesper is currently working as the Director of DIMS Sales - Asia Pacific at Cold Jet, where they are responsible for driving sales growth. Prior to this, they served as the Sales Director at Aquila Triventek A/S, where they were responsible for sales and marketing activities and the development and implementation of sales strategies. Jesper also worked at Polartech Aps as the Director and part owner, where they focused on developing new technology and setting up new markets and distributors in the APAC region. Earlier in their career, Jesper held various sales and managerial roles at companies such as Cold Jet, IceTech Denmark, Danish Marine System, Aalborg University, Triton Seafood ApS, Fishing Company "Tove Maybritt", and Thorfisk A/S.

Jesper Holmgaard began their education in 1983 at the University of Florence, where they studied Italian culture and language. It is unclear when their studies concluded at this institution. Additionally, Jesper attended Hammersmith and West London College, but the dates and details of their studies in language and culture are unknown. Jesper also attended Esbjerg Business School for an undisclosed period, where they focused on business studies. Later on, in 1992, Jesper attended Henley, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Strategic Management, completing their studies in 1993.
