James Olsen has a long history of successful work experience. James began their career in 1988 as a Software Engineer for the Royal New Zealand Navy where they were responsible for analysis, design, programming, testing and team leadership on real-time embedded systems. James then moved on to Synergy NZ (UK) Limited (now Fronde) in 1994, where they worked as a Software Architect and Developer. In 2006, they took on the role of Senior Software Developer and Senior Architect for Cognotec, where they were the inventor, Software Architect and Lead Developer of a Multi-Bank Liquidity FX Execution Engine. In 2010, they took on the role of Senior Architect for First Derivatives and a Software Consultant for Improved Solutions Limited. In 2018, they joined McCarthys as a Software Developer and in 2019, they became the Chief Software Architect for CoinZoom.
James Olsen attended The University of Waikato from 1985 to 1987, where they obtained a BSc in Computer Science.
