Eddie Qinghua Mao has had a diverse work experience. In 2022, they were a Project Management Lead and Project Management at Coinstore.com, a Management Consulting Intern at PwC South East Asia Consulting, and a User Experience Associate and Human Experience Intern (Workforce) at JLL. In 2021, they were a Student Researcher (Architecture) at the National University of Singapore. In 2016, they were an Acceptance Officer SAFTI MI at the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF). Finally, in 2014, they were the President of the Chinese Cultural Society.

Eddie Qinghua Mao has a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Architecture (Major) & Business Management (Minor) from the National University of Singapore, which they obtained from 2018 to 2022. In 2019, they attended the Global Summer School at The University of Tokyo, where they studied Sustainability Management. Additionally, they have obtained two certifications from Coursera - Project Management & Other Tools for Career Development and Project Management Principles and Practices - both in September 2022.
