Vesa Alho has extensive work experience in the IT field, with a focus on cloud architecture, DevOps engineering, and system administration. Vesa has worked in various roles and companies, including Vuono Group as a Senior Cloud Architect and DevOps Engineer, Coinmotion as a Senior DevOps Engineer, and Enfuce Financial Services as a Senior DevOps Engineer. Vesa has also served as a Cloud Architect and Team Lead at Nordcloud, an IT Architect at Futurice, and a Senior IT Specialist at Futurice. Prior to their professional roles, Vesa had experience as a freelancer and system administrator at the City of Pori Education department. Vesa began their career as an IT trainee at Satakunta University of Applied Sciences and had a trainee and summer replacement role at Outokumpu.

Vesa Alho pursued their education at Satakunta University of Applied Sciences from 1998 to 2002. There, they studied IT and was working towards a Bachelor's degree, although they did not graduate. In 2022, they obtained the certification of AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate from Amazon Web Services.
