Destiny Ajakaiye has a diverse work experience in software engineering and development. In their most recent role as a Software Engineer at Coin Metrics, they were responsible for building UI applications, API endpoints, and servers. They also developed a web automation tool for internal usage. Prior to that, Destiny worked as the Tech Lead & CTO at Lafya HealthShare, where they built a mobile application and an administrator portal using React.js and React Native. They also gained experience as a Senior Software Engineer at Exquis App Factory, developing responsive pages, REST APIs, and implementing test-driven development. Destiny also held positions as a Senior Software Engineer at Bento, Lead Software Developer at Sprinble, and Software Developer at Needle Technology Limited and Mahsul Trade, where they worked on various projects using technologies such as PHP, Laravel, Angular, and React.

Destiny Ajakaiye has a diverse education history in the field of computer science. In 2014, Destiny obtained a National Diploma in Computer Science from Federal Polytechnic Bida, Niger State, which was completed in 2016. This was followed by a brief enrollment at the National Open University of Nigeria in 2017, where Destiny pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. However, Destiny Ajakaiye did not complete the degree, as studies at this institution ended in 2018.

In 2018, Destiny pursued further education at Yaba College of Technology in Lagos, Nigeria, where they earned a Higher National Diploma in Computer Science in 2021.

Prior to all these, Destiny earned a certification named "The Complete Web Developer in 2018: Zero to Mastery" from Udemy in July 2017.
