Or Malkai started their work experience as a Systems Operator for the Israeli Military Intelligence - Unit 8200 in 2010. During their time there, they managed technical and intelligence activities and was involved in a project to develop a WEB application.

In 2013, Malkai joined Allot Communications as an Integration Engineer. Their responsibilities included manual and automatic tests, identifying code bugs, and maintaining a hardware lab.

From 2015 to 2017, they worked as a Software Developer for Allot Communications, focusing on C/C++ development and implementing features based on specifications.

In 2017, Malkai became a DPI Software Developer, leading the AI infrastructure project as part of the DPI SW team at Allot Communications.

In 2018, they transitioned to the role of Data Science Team Leader at Allot Communications. In this role, Malkai led a global team responsible for developing ML/AI models for encrypted traffic analysis. Or also worked closely with Product Managers and Domain Experts to define product requirements.

Since 2021, Malkai has been working at Coho as a Data Scientist and Data Product Manager. Or recently transitioned to the position of Head of Data, where they oversee data-related activities within the company.

Or Malkai completed a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from Tel Aviv University from 2017 to 2020. Prior to that, they pursued studies in Computer Science at Tel Aviv University from 2014 to 2017, although the degree attained during that time is not specified.
