Srinivasan Murari currently serves as Chief Development Officer at Cohesity, a position held since August 2023. Previously, Murari held significant leadership roles at major technology companies, including Vice President of Engineering for Google Cloud, where responsibility encompassed the productivity of approximately 20,000 software engineers across various domains. At VMware, Murari served as Senior Vice President of Engineering, overseeing the rapidly growing storage and availability business with a team of over 750 engineers. Murari’s experience also includes roles at GyanaSoft as Co-Founder and CTO, and leadership positions at Parama Networks, Mediamatics, Intel Corporation, and Digital Equipment Corporation. Academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from UC Santa Barbara and a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology.
