Patrick Lewis is a Modelling Lead at Cohere, leading the Retrieval-Augmentation and tool use teams. Before this role, Patrick worked as an AI Research Scientist at Meta and was a FAIR PhD Student at Facebook. With a background in Natural Language Processing and AI, Patrick has experience in developing Deep Learning and Cognitive Computing approaches for NLP tasks. Patrick has a PhD in Artificial Intelligence from UCL and a Master's Degree in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge.
