Lisa Downing started their work experience in 1997 as a Tax Senior at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Lisa'sresponsibilities included preparing and reviewing FAS 109 calculations, preparing C Corporation and partnership tax returns, and reviewing Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) tax returns. Lisa worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers until 2005. In 2006, Lisa joined Cohen & Company as a Tax Senior Manager specializing in tax work for the investment industry, specifically regulated investment companies (RICs). Lisa was responsible for reviewing annual income tax provisions, proposed RIC excise tax distributions, and fund's income tax returns.

Lisa Downing completed a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting and Business Pre-Law from Ohio University from 1992 to 1996. Lisa later pursued a Master of Science in Accounting (MSA) from Ohio University from 1996 to 1997. Lisa also obtained a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the Accountancy Board of Ohio, although the specific month and year of acquisition are unknown.
