Plamen Mitrikov serves as the Head of Commercial Real Estate Lending at Cohen & Company Asset Management since January 2017. Prior experience includes roles as Executive Director at Morgan Stanley, Managing Director at JVB Financial Group, and Executive Vice President of Asset Management at RAIT Financial Trust. At Merrill Lynch, Plamen held the position of Director in Global Structured Credit Products, following earlier experience as an Associate in Structured Credit Products at Credit Suisse. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from Columbia University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Physics from Franklin & Marshall College.
