Joan Peifer is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in financial reporting and accounting. Currently serving as the Manager of Financial Reporting at Cohen & Company Asset Management since October 2015, Joan is responsible for the initial preparation of public filings, managing external auditors, and compliance with GAAP and SEC requirements. Prior to this role, experience includes positions at Aqua America as a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst, First Equity Card Company as Assistant Controller, and earlier roles at Sunoco, Inc. and Arthur Andersen & Company. Joan holds a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Pennsylvania.
