Nikki Navta has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Nikki is currently working as the K12 Adoption Lead at Code.org, where they focus on forging relationships with school districts to make their curriculum accessible to students in under-resourced communities. Prior to this, Nikki was a Strategic Advisor and Director of Partnerships and Sales at Cognitive ToyBox, where they provided critical thinking and analysis to improve decision-making. Nikki also served as an Entrepreneur In Residence at Arc Capital Development and Director of Research at Catapult X, LLC. Nikki has held leadership positions in the education industry as well, including VP K12 Computer Science roles at Carnegie Learning and EMC Publishing, LLC. Nikki was also the President and CEO of Zulama, a company dedicated to transforming education. Earlier in their career, Nikki worked at Navta Associates, Inc as the Principal, achieving the highest sales year in the company's history and establishing preferred vendor relationships with major textbook publishers. Nikki started their career as a Technical Support Specialist at Autologic and a Graphic Designer at Mc Donalds Corporation. Nikki has consistently demonstrated a passion for utilizing technology in education and driving innovation.

Nikki Navta attended St. Lawrence University from 1984 to 1988, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Math and Fine Arts. In 2013, they completed Level 1 Improv at Steel City Improv Theater (SCIT). In 2015, they obtained a Certificate of Completion in Goldman Sachs 10000 Small Businesses from Babson College. In 2016, Nikki Navta participated in the LearnLaunch Breakthrough Accelerator, a graduate program focused on ed-tech. The following year, in 2017, they graduated from the AT&T Aspire Accelerator, another ed-tech program. Additionally, Nikki Navta has obtained a Boating Safety Education Certificate from the PA Fish and Boat Commission in June 2018 and attended the 2017 ASU GSV Summit, earning a certification in May 2017.
