Erin Okabe-Jawdat has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. In 2008, they interned as an Animation Intern at Sonalysts. Erin then worked as an Architectural Drafter at Abigail Van Slyck in June 2010 and as an Architectural Drafter at Connecticut College from May to July 2010. In December 2010, Erin joined Digital Heritage Mapping as a Research and Modeling Assistant, a role they held until January 2014.
In 2012, Erin joined The Brearley School where they worked in multiple roles. From September 2012 to August 2014, they served as a Technology Intern and later became the Help Desk Manager. From September 2014 to August 2016, Erin took on the roles of iPad Manager and Associate Math Teacher.
In 2017, Erin worked as a UX AR/VR Intern at the American Museum of Natural History from January to June.
Most recently, Erin joined Cognitive ToyBox in June 2018 as a Product Manager. In February 2021, they were promoted to the role of Senior Product Manager, which they currently hold.

Erin earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Architectural Studies and Computer Science from Connecticut College. Erin attended the school from 2006 to 2010.
Prior to that, Erin completed high school at The Brearley School from 2002 to 2006.
In 2012, Erin participated in the Eleusis Archaeological 3D Recording and Visualization Field School, where they studied Geomatics with a focus on Terrestrial LiDAR/Laser Scanning and Photogrammetry.
Erin went on to pursue a Master of Arts degree in Digital Media Design for Learning at New York University from 2016 to 2018.
Additionally, Erin has obtained certifications in Apple support and Arts and Technology. In July 2013, they became an Apple Certified Support Professional 10.8, and in May 2010, they completed the Arts and Technology certification from the Ammerman Center for Arts and Technology.
