Mike Nugent currently serves as the Chief Revenue Officer at Hitachi ZeroCarbon since October 2023. As a co-founder, Chairman, and CTO at Cognition since February 2017, Mike Nugent focuses on helping asset-intensive businesses leverage operational data for strategic advantage. Previous roles include Head of Fleet Strategy and Fleet Business Incubation at Hitachi Europe, Director at Hitachi Consulting, Chief Commercial Officer at Elutions, Partner at EC Harris, and Director at KPMG, among others. With a strong background in project management and strategy within the utilities and energy sectors, Mike Nugent holds an MSc in Economics from the University of Warwick and a BSc in Economics (Hons) from the University of Southampton.
