Vassilissa Semouchkina is an experienced lead information designer currently working at Cognition since March 2022. In addition, Vassilissa serves as an adjunct lecturer at the University of Washington, teaching undergraduate and graduate courses across various design-related programs. Previous roles include science/design consultant at the University of Washington Design Help Desk, designer at the Sara Little Turnbull Center for Design Institute, and creative director for the University of Washington Graduate and Professional Student Senate. Vassilissa has also held positions as a senior designer at Michigan Technological University and interned in graphic and interface design at various firms. Vassilissa holds a Master of Design from the University of Washington and dual Bachelor's degrees in Art and Design and Architecture from the University of Michigan.
