Henrik Grønbech

Software Engineer II at Cognite

Henrik Grønbech has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Henrik is currently working at Cognite as a Software Engineer II, where they have contributed to the maintenance and enhancement of the asynchronous ML API as part of the Contextualization ML backend team. Henrik has also worked on a project developing a solution for semi-automated comparison of engineering diagrams to identify discrepancies. Prior to this, Henrik worked at Cognite as a summer intern multiple times, witnessing the company's growth from a start-up to Norway's first unicorn.

In addition to their experience at Cognite, Henrik has also worked as a Software Engineer at SINTEF Ocean for a year. Henrik has also served as a Student Assistant at Norges teknisk-naturvitenskapelige universitet (NTNU), where they provided guidance and approval for programming assignments in courses such as TDT4102 - Prosedyre- og objektorientert programmering (C++) and TDT4120 - Algoritmer og datastrukturer. Henrik also worked as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant for the same course, TDT4120, during a specific period. Furthermore, they have served as a Student Assistant for the course TDT4105 - IT grunnkurs (MATLAB). Overall, Henrik's work experience showcases their expertise in software engineering, machine learning, and teaching support.

Henrik Grønbech obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) between 2015 and 2021. Prior to that, they pursued an Enkeltemne (single subject) in MAT1100U at The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences from 2014 to 2015. Henrik completed their high school education in Studiespesialisering at Oslo Katedralskole from 2013 to 2015. In 2011, they also participated in the EPGY (Education Program for Gifted Youth) at Stanford University, where they focused on Logic and Problem Solving.
