Oscar García Sarmiento is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in platform engineering and system administration. Currently serving as the Platform Engineering Team Leader at Indra since January 2021, Oscar oversees cross-project platform initiatives in the aerospace and defense sectors, focusing on cloud virtualization and infrastructure management. With a long tenure at Grupo CMC starting in October 2007 as a Senior System Engineer for Telefónica Móviles' pre-production environment, responsibilities include VMware deployments and network management. Previous roles include IT System Administrator positions at Accenture and El Corte Inglés, where Oscar developed and supported critical software systems and hardware infrastructures. Oscar holds a Higher Technician degree in Computer Network Systems Management from CENTEC.
