Matt Lawson has a diverse work experience in the field of design and development. Matt started their career as an IT Technician at Middlesbrough College in 2012. Later, they worked as a Social Media Coordinator at The Keys Bar & Restaurant in 2015. Subsequently, they joined Middlesbrough College again as a Graphic Designer in 2013. In 2018, Matt worked as a Designer at ConversionBet, where they designed behavioral overlays and emails for clients in the iGaming industry. Matt also handled front-end development for these projects. From 2019 to 2020, they served as a Frontend Developer & Designer at Salesfire, creating engaging UI solutions for the customer-facing dashboard and building the marketing website. In 2020, Matt worked as a Product Designer at Carbon, where they created wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups of new product features. Currently, since 2021, they have been working as a Product Designer at Cognassist, responsible for the aesthetic and overall usability of the platform, working closely with stakeholders across the business.
Matt Lawson's education history begins in 2006 when they attended Acklam Grange High School. After completing their high school education, they went on to pursue further studies. From 2010 to 2012, Matt studied at Middlesbrough College, earning a BTEC Level 3 degree in IT Systems Support & Networking.
In 2012, Matt continued their education at Cleveland College of Art and Design, where they pursued a BTEC Level 3 degree in Photography, completing it in 2014. Simultaneously, from 2013 to 2015, Matt also attended Middlesbrough College to undertake an Advanced Level Apprenticeship (Level 3) in IT Software Web & Telecoms Professionals.
In terms of additional certifications, Matt obtained a certification in "UX Design: 1 Overview" from LinkedIn in October 2022.
