Kye Taylor is a Principal Machine Learning Scientist and Tech Lead at Cogito Corp, where responsibilities include designing and analyzing intelligent emotion detection systems to enhance human-to-human interactions. Simultaneously serving as a Lecturer of Mathematics at Tufts University, Kye focuses on lesson design and teaching in engineering and applied mathematics, covering topics such as numerical analysis and statistics. Previous experience includes roles as an Online Course Developer at The MathWorks, where Kye contributed to the online learning platform, and as a Research/Teaching Assistant at the University of Colorado at Boulder, where Kye developed probabilistic models for nonlinear algorithms. Kye holds a Ph.D. in Applied Math and both a BS and MS in Applied Math and Physics from the University of Colorado Boulder.
