Jeff Karnes has extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry, with a focus on sales leadership roles. Jeff started their career at UUNET in 1998 as the Regional VP of Sales, where they successfully grew sales revenue and acquired significant clients. Jeff then became the VP of Sales, Emerging Markets, leading a high-performing multinational team and achieving record revenue. After UUNET merged with MCI Corporation, Jeff became the VP of Mid-Market Sales, where they significantly improved productivity and implemented successful sales strategies. Jeff later joined Cogent Communications as the CRO and VP of Global Sales, overseeing core procedures and developing sales pipelines. Jeff then served as the Vice President of Sales at Digitek Computer Products, fostering growth and implementing sales-driven procedures. Currently, they hold the role of Vice President of Sales- Premier Accounts at Cogent Communications, where they develop revenue-generating strategies and collaborates with executive leadership. Throughout their career, Jeff has consistently achieved sales targets and received recognition for their outstanding performance.
