Yang Wang is a highly experienced structural biologist currently serving as a Senior Principal Scientist at Cogent Biosciences since March 2023, after holding the role of Principal Scientist at the same company from July 2021 to March 2023. Prior to this, Yang was an Instructor at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus from January 2020 to July 2021, focusing on the structure and function of pathogenic T cell receptors related to Type 1 Diabetes and autoimmune diseases. Yang's postdoctoral work at National Jewish Health from January 2011 to February 2020 involved studying pathogenic T cells and advancing techniques in protein expression and crystallization. Yang holds a Ph.D. in Structural Biology from China Agricultural University, a Master’s degree in Plant Sciences from Beijing University of Agriculture, and a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from Inner Mongolia Agricultural University.
