Rapi Castillo is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in web development and solutions consulting. Since December 2017, Rapi Castillo has served as the Founder of Rapico LLC, and is currently the Director of Engineering at Coforma, a position held since September 2024. Rapi Castillo held leadership roles at Code for America from September 2022 to August 2024, managing diverse engineering teams and enhancing organizational processes. Prior experience includes roles at the NYC Department of Information Technology & Telecommunications and the NYC Mayor's Office of the CTO, focusing on human-centered design and security-first development approaches. Rapi Castillo has also contributed as a full-stack engineer in various organizations, emphasizing data-driven projects and grassroots advocacy efforts. Rapi Castillo earned a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of the Philippines.
