Kick Baesjou has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Kick started their career at Dutch Insurance Network as an Account Manager in 1996 and held the position until 2002. In 2002, Baesjou joined Coface Nederland as a Sector Leader for Industry and ICT, a role they held until 2006. Kick then moved up within the company to become the Vice President at Coface, a role they held from 2007 to 2011. Finally, they served as the Global Solutions Commercial Director at Coface from 2011 onwards.

Kick Baesjou obtained an MBA degree in Finance from Rutgers Business School from 2009 to 2011. Prior to that, Kick attended Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences from 1992 to 1996, but did not complete a degree or specify a field of study.
