Joe Zack has worked in the software engineering industry since 1998. Joe began their career at Data Trace as a Lead Quality Assurance Analyst before moving to Talent Rock LLC as a Senior Web Application Developer. From 2001 to 2006, they worked at Caxiam as a Senior Software Engineer, writing custom web applications for small to medium sized businesses. In 2010, Joe joined Symantec as a Software Engineer, where they ported and adapted native C++ code to a new API for the Backup Exec product. Joe also led a task force of interns and junior engineers to create test automation. In 2011, they joined Amazon's Fabric.com Subsidiary as a Software Developer II, where they worked on the eCommerce team and replaced the internal systems of an aging 3rd party web application. From 2013 to 2014, they worked at Bay Dynamics as an Advisory Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer, writing custom software for security analytics. During this time, they also worked at Innovative Architects as a Senior Consultant, creating requirements documents and custom software for several large web applications that integrated with Salesforce. Joe currently works at Broadcom Inc. as a Principal Software Engineer.

Joe Zack attended the University of Central Florida from 1998 to 2006. In 2020, they obtained an Associate Cloud Engineer certification from Google.
