Jim Bentley has over two decades of experience in system administration and applications management, currently serving as Applications Administrator and Desktop Engineer at Codexis, Inc. since October 2007. In this role, Jim adheres to SOX regulations regarding financial systems, oversees network security, and manages disaster recovery and antivirus monitoring. Previous experience includes tenure as Windows System Admin II at Nektar Therapeutics from October 2005 to May 2007 and System Administrator at Aerogen, Inc. from October 2001 to October 2005, where responsibilities included maintaining backup systems and enterprise security measures. Jim holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of California, Davis, completed between 1976 and 1981.
