Patrick Bryant graduated from Spring Valley High School in 1991. Following high school, they attended the University of South Carolina from 1991 to 1996, where they obtained a degree in Mass Communications, with a focus on Broadcast Management.

In terms of additional certifications, Patrick became a Liberty Fellow in January 2019, obtaining this certification from The Aspen Institute. Prior to that, in January 2016, they became a Riley Fellow, obtaining this certification from Furman University.
