Lukas Sommer has worked as a Research Engineer at Codeplay Software since December 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Graduate Research Associate at Technische Universität Darmstadt from November 2016 to November 2021.

Lukas Sommer's education history began in 2011 when they enrolled at Technische Universität Darmstadt to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Informatik. Lukas completed their undergraduate studies in 2014. Following that, Lukas continued their education at the same university and obtained a Master of Science degree in Informatik in 2016.

After completing their master's degree, Lukas Sommer pursued further academic achievement and enrolled in a Ph.D. program at Technische Universität Darmstadt in the field of Informatik. Lukas successfully completed their doctoral studies and obtained a Ph.D. degree in 2021.

In addition to their academic degrees, Lukas Sommer also obtained a certification from the Software Campus Qualification Program, which they earned from the Software Campus in July 2019.
