Maxim Klyuchnikov has held various software development roles since 2003. From 2003 to 2004, they worked as a System and Network Administrator at Mordovia State University named after N.P. Ogarev (MSU). During this time, they developed a Web/SMTP mail server with caching layer on Perl and a search engine on PHP/MySQL. From 2004 to 2007, they worked as a Web Developer at Kangaroo Partners, where they gained experience on LAMP stack and real-world Linux servers administration. From 2007 to 2008, they were a Senior Software Developer at ServiceTrace, where they developed various parts of a large software monitoring application. From 2008 to 2009, they were a Lead Software Developer at UpSelf, where they led the development of a knowledge-management-enabled social network platform. From 2009 to 2011, they were a Senior Software Developer at CloudCentral, where they created a web-based UI for user account management and a web panel to manage cloud machines and other resources. Finally, from 2011 to the present, they have been a Technical Lead at Codemasters International, LLC, where they have been involved in the development of web, cloud, and mobile applications. Maxim has also been responsible for project management, people management, technical leadership, teaching university students, and growing company developers.

Maxim Klyuchnikov has a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Molecular Genetics from Mordovia State University named after N.P. Ogarev (MSU), which they obtained between 1999 and 2004. Maxim also obtained various certifications from Coursera, Microsoft, and The Linux Foundation between 2012 and 2019. These certifications include Convolutional Neural Networks, Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization, Structuring Machine Learning Projects, Neural Networks and Deep Learning, Functional Programming Principles in Scala, MCPD: Windows Azure Developer, MCPD: Web Developer 4, MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional, and CKAD: Certified Kubernetes Application Developer.
