Drew Weston has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Drew is currently the Chief Operating Officer of CodeLynx, Inc., where they are responsible for growing the commercial client base and leading efforts to integrate new technology programs with security OEM's. Before this role, they served as the Director of Sales and Marketing and Assistant Facility Security Officer at CodeLynx, where they played a key role in diversifying the business mix and expanding commercial offerings. Prior to that, Drew served as the CFO and Facility Security Officer, overseeing various financial and security functions. Drew also held the position of Contracts Manager and Facility Security Officer at CodeLynx, managing multiple aspects of the company's operations during a period of substantial growth.
In addition to their time at CodeLynx, Drew served as the President of King's Krest, Inc. for two years, and worked as an Account Executive at Blackbaud, where they focused on outside sales for the Education vertical. Drew was responsible for achieving sales quotas and building client relationships. Drew also worked at Blackbaud Pacific as an Account Executive, where they sold various products and managed new client growth in the Asia Pac region. Furthermore, Drew had also worked as an Account Manager and Sales Intern at Blackbaud Pacific in the past. Prior to their career in technology and sales, Drew gained early work experience as a Ticket Agent at Spoleto Festival USA.
Drew Weston attended Wando High School from 1996 to 2000. Drew then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in International Business from the College of Charleston from 2000 to 2005. In 2010, they enrolled at The Citadel, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration degree with a specialization in Business. Additionally, Drew has acquired several certifications, including the Certified Protection Professional from ASIS International in 2018, Level I Certified Alarm Technician from the Electronic Security Association in 2017, Account Manager SMB from Cisco in 2012, and Microsoft Certified Professional from Microsoft in 2011.
