Kent Pendleton

Teacher Trainer at CodeHS

Kent Pendleton is an experienced educator and content creator with a diverse background in computer science and engineering. Currently serving as a Teacher Trainer at CodeHS since August 2021 and as a Content Creator for TechNoviceTools since August 2015, Kent has developed comprehensive demo and training materials. At Trinity Christian Academy, where Kent has worked since August 1987, leadership includes heading the Computer Science/Computer Applications department and previously managing the mathematics department. Kent has also instructed students in SAT and ACT preparation at Verbal Skills Seminar from 1987 to 2013, authored an extensive reference manual on mathematics, and contributed to R&D projects at Sandia National Laboratories from 1984 to 1987. Academic achievements include a Master’s in Civil Engineering (Structures) and a Bachelor’s in Physics from Texas A&M University, along with an Associate degree in Mathematics from Midland College.
