Erik Synnestvedt is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in both teaching and technology development. Currently serving as an Engineering Teaching Assistant at Minuteman High School, Erik supports students in various engineering disciplines. As a Home Energy Analysis Tool Developer for Code for Boston, Erik contributes to a software application designed to assist homeowners in adopting greener heating solutions. Erik has also led Python workshops at Stanford University and previously took a sabbatical to focus on personal and creative projects. With a strong background at F5, Erik held multiple senior leadership roles, managing global engineering teams and driving significant sales growth in network security and management solutions. Erik's career began with foundational roles at prestigious companies including Motorola and Cisco, complemented by a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Northeastern University.
