Margaret Thorpe is a Senior Product Manager on the Safety Net team. Margaret joins Code for America from IBM, where she managed products for business process modeling (IBM Blueworks Live) and decision automation (IBM Operational Decision Manager). Margaret is a recent graduate of the UC Davis Data Analytics program where she created tools for analysis & visualization of California wildfire and COVID-19 data, and a neural net for early wildfire detection. She enjoys finding useful patterns in data and working closely with customers, designers, and engineers to improve software products, business processes and decisions.
