Stacy Tarver Patterson has a diverse work experience in various industries and roles. Stacy is currently the Head of Brand Strategy at Code and Theory since May 2023. Prior to that, they were the CMO in Residence at Columbia Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Design starting from August 2020. Stacy also co-founded and served as the Chief Marketing Officer at COR from January 2021 to December 2021.
Before their entrepreneurial ventures, Stacy worked at West as the Managing Director from September 2019 to April 2021. Stacy had an extensive career at Nike, where they held various senior leadership positions such as Sr. Director Key City Marketing, Sr. Marketing Director - Digital Marketing, Sr. Director Greater China Marketing - North, and Brand Planning Director. Stacy started their journey at Nike in January 2015.
Prior to their time at Nike, Stacy worked at The YMCA of Greater New York as a Marketing/Communications Specialist from June 2007 to September 2008. Stacy started their career as an Analyst in the Financial Analytics and Structured Transactions Group at Bear Stearns & Co. from June 2004 to May 2007.
Throughout their career, Stacy has demonstrated expertise in brand strategy, marketing, entrepreneurship, and leadership.
Stacy Tarver Patterson has a strong education background in business and data science. Stacy completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies from Columbia Business School between 2014 and 2016. In 2019, Stacy completed additional courses in Data Science at the University of California, Berkeley.
Stacy also obtained a certificate in Language Immersion Program with a focus on Mandarin from Peking University in 2018.
Prior to their MBA, Stacy attended NYU Stern School of Business from 2003 to 2007, where they earned their Bachelor of Science degree. Stacy'smajor fields of study during this time were Marketing, Management, and Organizational Behavior.
