Bentley Hodges has a diverse background in finance and investment banking. Bentley started their career as a Summer Intern at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in 1999. After completing their internship, they joined the company as a Senior Associate in Financial Advisory Services, where they led client audits, due diligence, and regulatory compliance assignments in the financial services sector.
In 2002, Bentley joined Deloitte & Touche LLP as a Senior Consultant in Mergers & Acquisitions. In this role, they performed financial structuring analysis and pre-bid assessments for financial buyers and corporate clients in various industries, including manufacturing, sports, and healthcare.
After two years at Deloitte, Bentley joined Bank of America / Countrywide Securities Corp. in 2004 as an Associate in Structured Finance & Investment Banking. Here, they managed the residential and commercial real estate mortgage-backed securities transaction process and maintained key relationships with REITs, banks, and mortgage issuers.
In 2007, Bentley joined Madison Ventures+ as the Vice President & Portfolio Director. In this role, they originated, structured, and managed direct debt and equity investments in real estate and lower-middle-market companies across various industries. Bentley also managed the finance and strategic development functions for these entities and focused on sourcing and underwriting new investments.
In 2015, Bentley joined Backline Partners as a Partner. In this position, they invested in and partnered with entrepreneurs of consumer-facing companies, providing finance and operations expertise and leading financial planning, analysis, and forecasting initiatives.
Most recently, Bentley served as Vice President at CoBank, starting in 2016. CoBank is a leading provider of credit to agribusiness and infrastructure across the U.S. In their role, Bentley focused on the food, beverage, and agribusiness sectors, supporting local grain cooperatives, global food and beverage companies, and vital power, water, and communications utilities.

Bentley Hodges obtained a BBA degree in Accounting & Finance from the University of Iowa from 1996 to 2000. In addition, they hold inactive certifications for Series 7 & 63 from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), which were obtained in May 2005.
