Angelina Freeman is an Adjunct Professor at Louisiana State University since January 2017. Prior to that, Angelina worked as a Research Scientist at the Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority of Louisiana starting in January 2014. Before that, Angelina was the Director of Science and Engineering Projects, Mississippi River Delta at the Environmental Defense Fund from May 2009 to December 2013. Angelina holds a Bachelor's degree in Physics and Music from Eckerd College, a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Oceanography and Coastal Sciences from Louisiana State University, and a Master's degree in Acoustics from Penn State University.
