Kevin Hickson has a diverse work experience in various roles. Kevin started their career as an Intern at Olsen & Shuvalov in 2005. In 2007, they worked as an Intern at Friends of Michael Williams. Later, in 2008, they joined Upstream Communications as an Account Executive and eventually rose to the position of Vice President in 2015. In 2020, they became the Communications Director at Coastal Conservation Association.

Kevin Hickson earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government from The University of Texas at Austin, where they studied from 2003 to 2007.
