Sakshi C. Dasgupta is an experienced professional in urban planning and disaster resilience, currently serving as Lead Specialist for Technical Studies at the Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure since April 2023. Previously, Sakshi held the role of Senior Thematic Advisor at the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation from January 2019 to March 2023, and worked as a Technical Advisor for GIZ India from March 2015 to December 2018, contributing to multiple urban sanitation initiatives across various states in India. Early career experience includes serving as Deputy Programme Manager for Green Buildings at the Centre for Science and Environment and holding research and project management roles at The Energy and Resources Institute and the Centre for Urban and Regional Excellence. Sakshi holds a Master in Urban and Regional Planning from CEPT University and a Master in Geography from the Delhi School of Economics, along with a Bachelor's degree in Geography from Miranda House College.
