Lavel Walker has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. They began their career in 2004 as a Child Mental Health Worker at New Behavioral Network, where they supported clients in their treatment plans and facilitated various activities. In 2007, they joined Brandywine School District as an Interventionist/Resource Teacher. They then worked as a Recreational Coordinator at Seminole Tribe of Florida in 2013. Later that year, they became a Private Track Coach at CoachUp, helping clients achieve their athletic goals. In 2014, they took on the role of Para Educator/Track Coach at Red Clay Consolidated School District. They also served as the Track and Field Head Coach at Charter School of Wilmington from 2004 to 2021.
