Claire Costello is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in procurement and supply chain management. Currently serving as Chief People and Inclusion Officer and Chief Procurement Officer at Co-op since September 2019, Claire has held significant roles in previous organizations, including Senior Director of the Asda Merger team and Senior Director of Indirect Procurement at Walmart. With a solid foundation in indirect sourcing from a long tenure at Asda Stores Ltd, Claire has led teams across various functions such as procurement, global sourcing, and finance. Claire began the career as a Factory Accountant at Smith and Nephew after earning a degree in accountancy from Leeds Beckett University.
