David Holmans is a seasoned compliance professional with extensive experience in broadcasting regulatory compliance. Currently serving as the Director of Compliance at CNN since June 2014, David oversees compliance for CNN International and Warner Media General Entertainment and Childrenā€™s channels across the EMEA region and globally. Prior to this role, David held compliance positions at Viacom International Media Networks, specializing in sponsorship and product placement, and served as a Standards Executive at Ofcom, where responsibilities included regulating teleshopping channels in the UK and developing relevant policies. David began a career in compliance as a Teleshopping Compliance Executive at the Independent Television Commission. David holds a degree in History of European Art from The Courtauld Institute of Art.
