Rodrigo Villagrán Benavente is an experienced journalist and editor with a career spanning over a decade in various prestigious media organizations. Currently serving as an Editor at CNN Chile since May 2017, Rodrigo coordinates live broadcasts, interviews, and reports for multiple news programs. Previous roles include Editor periodístico for Portavoz Noticias at Arcatel A.G., and a journalism reporter at CNN Chile, Mega, and Canal 13, where Rodrigo covered significant national events, including economic segments and emergencies. Rodrigo began their career with a practicum at Canal 13 and gained initial reporting experience at Diario El Austral de Temuco. Rodrigo holds a degree from Universidad Mayor, obtained between 2003 and 2007.
