Tom Russell currently serves as Vice President of Media Strategy and Planning at CNBC, a position held since December 2016, where responsibilities include leading paid media investment strategies, audience acquisition for CNBC Pro and CNBC Investing Club, and developing attribution programs to measure ROI. Prior to CNBC, Tom was a Partner and Managing Director at Mindshare, successfully launching American Express cards and implementing significant planning process enhancements. Experience also includes roles at Carat, Mediacom, Universal McCann, Wieden + Kennedy, and DDB, where Tom managed high-profile accounts such as Procter & Gamble, Dell, and Sony Electronics, achieving notable successes including award-winning campaigns. Tom holds a BA in English, Marketing, and Management from Keene State College.
