Laura J. Hays, MSDM, CIC, is an accomplished insurance professional currently serving as Vice President of Small Business Sales & Distribution at CNA Insurance since November 2023. Previously, Hays held several senior roles at Liberty Mutual Insurance from January 2015 to November 2023, including Senior Vice President of Broker Relations and Assistant Vice President of Region Director, where strategies were developed for growth in commercial insurance markets. Prior experience includes positions at Nationwide Insurance, where responsibilities encompassed commercial lines underwriting, sales analysis, and liability claims. Hays holds a Master’s Degree in Security and Disaster Management from the University of Alaska Fairbanks and a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education and Teaching from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
