Rizwan Jan is CNA's Chief Information Officer, leading the technology and security practices while strengthening information systems. As CIO, he ensures the delivery of all information and technology capabilities required for the successful achievement of the CNA's mission. Jan brings decades of experience to this position in government regulation and classified environments as well as an understanding of IT modernization.
Prior to joining CNA, Jan was the CIO and chief information security officer for the Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine (HJF). During his time with HJF, he guided the development and implementation of an information security program designed to protect systems and assets from internal and external threats. He led a digital transformation of IT service delivery through workflow automation, engagement growth, simplifying the technology architecture, and investment in IT talent. Jan also worked at Booz Allen Hamilton, where he led the Incident Response team to detect, prevent, and respond to cybersecurity incidents and breaches, mitigating long-term damage.
