Andrew Olson is an accomplished academic and research analyst specializing in wargame design and emerging technologies. Currently serving as an adjunct professor at Georgetown University, Olson teaches a course on Wargame Design and Practice, leading students through a comprehensive project culminating in the development of an educational wargame. As a Research Analyst and Wargame Designer at CNA Corporation, Olson has supported over 20 wargames and leads initiatives on Civilian Harm Mitigation. Olson also has experience as an STIA Fellow at Georgetown University, where educational simulations were designed, and has held editorial roles, including Section Editor at the Georgetown Journal of International Affairs. With a Master's degree from Georgetown University and a Bachelor's degree from Westmont College, Olson possesses a strong background in foreign service, political science, and biology.
