Emily Richardson has been working in the scientific field since 2014. Her experience includes a range of roles, from Waitress to Lead Scientist. In 2009, Emily began working as a Waitress for Food 4 You. In 2010, they were a Dance Teacher for AB Performing Arts. In 2011, they worked as a Waitress for Darts Farm. From 2013 to 2014, Emily was a Relief Support Worker for Mencap. In 2014, they completed a Summer Internship at the University of Exeter. From 2016 to 2017, Emily worked as a Scientist II for Adaptimmune US. From 2017 to 2020, they were a PhD Student at the University of Leicester. Since 2020, Emily has been a Lead Scientist and Senior Scientist at CN Bio, managing projects to develop novel lung organ-on-a-chip models for use in drug development and basic biology studies.
Emily Richardson has a comprehensive education history. Emily attended Wellington School, Somerset from 2004 to 2011. Emily then went on to The University of Nottingham, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biochemistry and Molecular Medicine from 2012 to 2015. Most recently, Emily completed their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Leicester in 2020.
