Ala'a Rayyan is an accomplished electrical engineer currently employed at CMTA, Inc. since July 2018, and serves as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln since August 2016. Previous experience includes roles as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Creighton University, where research focused on the optical properties of copper sulfide thin-films, and as a Utility Grade Solar Researcher for the Omaha Public Power District, conducting a feasibility study for a solar farm project. Additional experience encompasses an internship at Iowa State University in the MoSAIc program, exploring droplet impingement using high-speed imaging systems, and teaching basic tennis skills as an Assistant Tennis Instructor for the City of Bellevue, Nebraska. Ala'a Rayyan holds a Ph.D. in Architectural Engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a Bachelor of Science in Energy Science from Creighton University.
